The house incorporates some beautiful and original features and is comfortably furnished. The ground floor has 2 good sized lounges, 2 bedrooms, a well fitted kitchen, a shower room with wc and patios to the front and rear. The main dining lounge is beside the kitchen with its own doorway access to the front patio. It is a light and elegant room with an original 18th century limestone fireplace, ceiling beams, comfy sofas, two amoires and a large dining table that comfortably seats eight. There are i-pod speakers in the lounge.
The front garden and the large patio running along the front of the house look over the Gironde and on a clear day it is easy to see the far side of the river over to the Medoc. There is exterior night lighting and the garden is hedged and gated for privacy.
The delightful French kitchen is situated at the front of the house leading directly to a vine covered area on the front patio for outside dining. It is equipped with a dresser for china, a large pantry fridge/freezer, a second wine/cheese fridge, a washing machine and dishwasher and microwave, as well as a gas hob and electric oven.
The twin bedded room is a large room which has direct access to the back patio. This access only incorporates one step so therefore could provide reasonable access for disabled or elderly visitors. It contains 2 single beds, fitted wardrobes and seating area. The single beds can be put together to make a large king sized bed.  A travel cot and high chair are also available.
There is also another smaller double bedroom on this floor which has its own fitted wardrobes.
The downstairs shower room incorporates a washhand basin, wc and shower cubicle.
The ‘back’ lounge has double height windows and its own French door access to a further small front patio. This room has a sofa, table and six chairs and a special wood burning fireplace (this fireplace has a special flue and burns oakwood only) which can be used as an open or closed fire. It has retractable glass sides.
We have recently had British freeview channels installed so you can get English TV channels. There is also a DVD player with an ample supply of movies.
